Can I drink the water in Morocco?

Tab water in Morocco is 100% chlorinated, which means it will cause you no harm if you use it. However, for tourist’s safety, we would recommend opting for bottled water because we don’t know how your body might react to the different bacteria found in the local tap water.

Can you go clubbing in Morocco?

Clubbing in Morocco is pretty common in tourist cities such as Casablanca, Marrakesh, Agadir, and Rabat. Many Moroccans enjoy going out to dance and socialize, especially on the weekends. However, what you need to know is that Morocco is a Conservative country and clubbing might be considered something you shouldn’t do as a Moroccan Muslim.

Is Morocco safe for LGBT TRAVELLERS?

First thing first, LGBTQ+ in Morocco is religiously a BIG NO, and here’s why: the state religion of Morocco is Islam and because Islam is anti-LGBTQ+, the Moroccan people are also against that.

It’s considered illegal and can be punished with anything from 6 months to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of 100 US dollars, also article 490 criminalizes any sexual relationship before marriage.

However, if you’re a tourist, authorities have no problems with that, especially in big cities like Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakesh, as long as you avoid attracting attention to yourself (no romantic acts while in the streets), you can do whatever you want back in your hotel room.
